I am truly grateful for your generosity, and I can't tell you how exciting it has been to see the impact these devices are already having on my students.\r\n\r\nBefore receiving the iPads, many of our classroom tablets had stopped working, which meant we were no longer able to use the interactive reading and math apps that had once been such an important part of our day. There was a noticeable gap in our learning routine, and my students missed the chance to practice skills in a way that felt fun, engaging, and just right for them. Thanks to you, that gap is gone.\r\n\r\nNow, with the new iPads, my first graders are once again strengthening their foundational reading skills through interactive phonics games that truly meet them where they are. During literacy centers, students are practicing letter sounds, blending, and word building at their own pace. It's been amazing to watch their confidence grow as they realize, \"I can do this!\"\r\n\r\nIn math, students are using adaptive programs to practice essential math facts and problem-solving skills. They love seeing their progress and celebrating when they master a new level. One of my favorite moments was hearing a student say, \"Look! I'm getting better!\" as they watched their progress update on the screen.\r\n\r\nThe iPads have also made it much easier for me to support all learners. Students can work independently, with a partner, or in small groups, allowing for meaningful differentiated instruction. Everyone is learning at their own level, and no one feels left out. The excitement in the classroom is contagious.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, your generosity has shown my students that people outside of their classroom care about them and believe in their success. That message means the world to six- and seven-year-olds, and it means so much to me as their teacher.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping my students get the tools they need and deserve. We are incredibly thankful for your kindness and support.","fullyFundedDate":1764647854486,"projectUrl":"project/ipads-for-the-fantastic-foxes/9933583/","projectTitle":"iPads for the Fantastic Foxes!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Martinet","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10363762"},{"teacherId":10363891,"projectId":9934729,"letterContent":"Transitional Kindergarten students love hands-on activities. There was not enough dirt and the dirt that was there was riddled with old roots. We took the time to dig out all the old and relined our beds so we could have a fresh start.\r\n\r\nThe students were thrilled when they saw the bags and bags of soil. Before that, the level was about 6 inches below the top. So it was hard to see if anything was growing. Between the coconut husk and soil, we filled and filled our garden beds. And the new gloves were a big hit! They love putting them on, even when we are just watering.\r\n\r\nThe next step is to watch our new seeds grow and we can't wait to see the flowers blooming.
