Your kindness and support have made a meaningful difference in the daily lives of my students. \r\n\r\nBecause of you students have access to the tools they need to succeed! Students use both the book boxes and personal whiteboards daily. The book boxes give students a strong sense of ownership of their learning and helps build their independence in the classroom. The book bins are used as personal cubbies for all of the students in the classroom. They use them to house their library books, school folders, headphones, and pencil boxes. This allows them to keep all their belongings in a safe place, as well as keep their materials organized. The personal whiteboards are used daily in phonics and math instruction. The whiteboards help make students more comfortable in learning new material, as they are not afraid to make mistakes, erase, and keep trying! These materials help our classroom function with ease and we are so grateful that your generosity is helping us to succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1753352237457,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-needs/9477215/","projectTitle":"Classroom Needs","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rubin","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10083754"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_25689","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":599,"numTeachers":30,"percentFrplEligible":18,"percentAsian":4,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":67,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":11,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"20.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":82.5,"schoolId":25689,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Chaparral Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Chaparral Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/las-virgenes-unified-school-district/chaparral-elementary-school/25689"}
