It has also given each child their own space to maximize learning during circle time, reading time and group lessons. \r\n\r\nThe children's reaction was very adorable; they came running in and said WOW Miss White look at the cool new rug and they immediately ran to a spot to claim. The impact of your generosity has been huge.\r\n\r\nWhen I inherited my classroom mid-year, there was nowhere for the kids to keep their backpacks. The cubbies in the hallway were taken by the other 2 classes in my pod, so their backpacks were kept in our classroom and strewn about the floor or slung over the chair backs, but constantly falling off. It was visually and physically a mess. Kids were tripping and falling everywhere and the situation was completely unsafe. I tried very hard to keep their backpacks managed, but it was a battle I was consistently losing.\r\n\r\nWhen the cubbies came after school one day, and materialized overnight in my classroom, my class was OVERJOYED. It was as if Santa had come. They love their cubbies, and their favorite part is that each cubby has its own pigeon hole, which is a wonderful place for library books to stay safe!
