Because of you, students have access to snacks, fidgets while they work, and basic classroom resources, like markers, pencils, and paper, to use throughout the year. My students come from a single parent home, from parents who work multiple jobs, can be in foster homes, or homeless, so the even the basic resources, like these, do not come easily to them. \r\n\r\nWhile this is something small, they appreciate it so much and look at the world with a little more positivity, knowing that someone out there, who they have never met, cared enough to share something like this with them. They do not often feel seen, heard, or loved, so this small token of support goes a long way in their day. \r\n\r\nAgain, I thank you for helping me help my students, and showing them different ways to go and find what they need and get support to accomplish their goals.
