My students were so excited when they saw the kick bands that we put them on every student's chair the same day we received them. They also love the calming effects of the fidget bubbler, and the wobble stools have allowed me to implement flexible seating in the classroom. From center-based learning to students that simply want to wiggle at their desk, the wobble stools allow us to work with flexibility and ease. Finally, the noise cancelling headphones allow my students that are sensitive to noise are able to focus better with the comfortable earmuffs. Ever since I have gotten all of these materials, I have noticed a significant shift in my student's energy towards learning and their comfortability in the classroom knowing they can ask for a wobble stool, a calming timer, or noise cancelling headphones.\r\nBesides those classroom materials, the snacks have made my students very happy. The popcorn options provided great incentive for students to behave positively. Knowing there are snacks in my cabinet, my students are very comfortable telling me when they have not eaten, and I can provide them with sustenance. Additionally, the snacks have allowed me to teach students the importance of not always asking for a reward for behaving well. I have multiple students who enjoy cleaning up after class ends, and I have now taught them not to expect a snack every time. Once a week, I do give a snack to the students that cleaned, teaching them the importance of patience and being consistent. I cannot express enough how much I have been able to connect with my students when snacks are available.\r\nI want to take this opportunity to thank everyone one last time. These snacks and materials have made the beginning of the school year a lot smoother and allowed me to meet my students' needs. This would not have been possible without all of your donations .","fullyFundedDate":1754973053483,"projectUrl":"project/flexibility-is-key-especially-in-the-cl/9482891/","projectTitle":"Flexibility Is Key, Especially in the Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mx. Your support has transformed my vision for a more engaging, organized, and secure classroom into a reality. The impact of your kindness goes far beyond the materials themselves; it sends a powerful message to my students that their learning and well-being are valued by a caring community. Thank you for believing in our classroom and for investing in our future.\r\n\r\nThe materials you provided are already making a tangible difference. The new book storage with LED lighting is helping us create the read-rich environment I've always dreamed of, making our classroom library a more inviting space. Students are excited about the Cricut machine, which will allow them to take the lead on creative, student-driven seasonal decorations, leveraging their own ideas and skills. The magnetic tape and letter trays will streamline our daily routines, keeping objectives visible and student work organized. The storage carts and bins are essential for managing and locating our different novel sets, ensuring we can maximize instructional time.\r\n\r\nFinally, your donations have directly enhanced the safety and security of our space. The trauma care unit is a critical addition that allows me to provide immediate care and fulfill my duty of protecting students from harm. It gives me peace of mind knowing these tools are readily available in an emergency. Additionally, the new locks for our classroom cabinets will ensure that all our valuable materials and supplies are kept safe and secure. Every single item you contributed helps create a classroom where students feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn. From the bottom of my heart, thank you once again for your extraordinary support.","fullyFundedDate":1754671672001,"projectUrl":"project/new-classroom-needs/9491654/","projectTitle":"New Classroom Needs","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Torres","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10089330"},{"teacherId":9098468,"projectId":8874933,"letterContent":"I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and generosity in supporting my students through your donations. The spare pants, sanitary products, and heat packs have made a meaningful difference in our classroom. These resources have provided a sense of security and relief for my students, particularly the young girls who now know they have a safe and discreet way to access what they need.\r\n\r\nOne of the most impactful moments was seeing the immediate sense of comfort these supplies brought. When I introduced the resources, many students expressed their gratitude, with several girls sharing how much it meant to them to have someone looking out for their well-being. Now, they know they can simply take the designated backpack, go to the restroom, and access what they need privately. This small system has reduced so much unnecessary stress and worry during an already challenging time in their lives.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, my students can focus more on learning rather than feeling anxious about unexpected situations. Moving forward, I hope to continue fostering a supportive and understanding environment where all students feel cared for and empowered.
