I teach first grade. The STEM materials will help in adding science and engineering to our current curriculum, making for a well-rounded curriculum across multi-core subjects. The tactile materials will further aid in the dual immersion program adding more depth to what the children are learning. The supplies will be used in small groups, where the students can use hands on to conduct and explain engineering and language activities. The large white board will be used on a daily basis to model and explain the lessons and it will also be used by the children to practice what has been learned.
