Building Raised Beds and Bright Futures.\" Your generosity has already made a meaningful difference in our nature club, and we are so excited to share the impact with you. Because of your support, our students have been actively working together to bring our garden to life. They have collaborated across grade levels, from TK through 6th grade, to build raised beds, decorate pots, and begin planting. It has been a wonderful opportunity for students of different ages to work in teams, share ideas, and learn from one another. Watching them cooperate, problem-solve, and take pride in their work has been truly special.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the excitement was immediate. Students eagerly gathered around, full of ideas and enthusiasm, ready to start building and imagining what our garden could become. One of the most impactful moments so far has been seeing students work side by side, hammering, painting, planting, and encouraging each other. These hands-on activities have not only strengthened their teamwork skills but have also deepened their connection to nature and responsibility for something they are growing together.\r\n\r\nWe are still in the process of filling the raised beds and preparing them for planting, and the students are eagerly involved every step of the way. Looking ahead, we are planning to organize our garden into special sections, including an herb garden, a produce area, and a space filled with beautiful flowers. Students are excited to continue shaping and caring for these areas as they grow.\r\n\r\nYour support has helped create more than just a garden; it has created a space for collaboration, creativity, and growth. Thank you for helping our students learn, explore, and thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1765910621147,"projectUrl":"project/watch-us-grow-building-raised-beds-and/9867785/","projectTitle":"Watch Us Grow! You have no idea how much your donations have helped create such a remarkable environment! From the moment I created the list, I never imagined it would get filled and my list would be chosen! \r\n My kids love our classroom and call it their \"safe\" place which is exactly what I wanted. Every day they walk in, I hear at least one kid saying how they love our class. Yet, it is more than that. Every child that walks into my room is in love with it and I have kiddos wanting to spend more and more time in our classroom as their safe place. \r\n The refrigerator was the greatest blessing as we live in an area where temperatures get to 104 degrees. Having a fridge to hold a bunch of water bottle in case they need one or want to cool their own bottles, they can! It also holds ice packs that help when they fall and hurt their knees or when heads hurt. \r\nOur pillows help create the coziness and allow comfort for when they read around our room, and I see a spark in them learning to love to read because they're so comfortable. We have a room where our class family can become close and where learning can thrive.
