Your generosity has made a meaningful difference in the daily learning experiences of my students.\r\n\r\nThe new Spanish books have provided my students with engaging opportunities to strengthen their reading comprehension, vocabulary development, fluency, and critical thinking skills. As we read together, they practice making predictions, identifying main ideas, citing evidence from the text, and discussing characters and themes. These skills are really important for helping students become confident, independent readers in both Spanish and English.\r\n\r\nReading is an important part of our classroom each day. Students spend time reading independently, participating in small-group discussions, doing read out louds and working with partners to share their thinking about books. The new books have given students access interesting stories that reflect their language and experiences, helping them stay engaged and motivated to read.\r\n\r\nIn addition to the books, the classroom supplies have helped create a more organized and productive learning environment where students have the materials they need to succeed every day. The students have been really loving the sound proof earphones when working independently.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for investing in my students and their education. The sheets protectors will be used for 90 students to create a folder with information. The pens will also be used with 90 students for writing. They will learn to organize their writing and show their results in color. \r\n\r\nThe fraction games and items will be used during our fractions unit. We have been encouraged to play games and make math fun, so these are perfect! \r\n\r\nI can not tell you how excited I am to have a kidney table in my classroom. We are a dual language school and did not have enough Spanish books to support our students. We have 3 grades, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade classes that come in weekly. Numerous times the kids would have to reread a Spanish book, have to read lower then their reading level or would have to settle on an English book as we didn't have enough books at their reading level in Spanish. We are truly grateful for our new Spanish books we received, it has and will continue to make a huge impact on our kids succeeding.
