Their enthusiasm shows their appreciation when they are given the opportunity to use hands on activities such as blocks, counting bears and counters. As their young minds are developing, they need hands on activities to develop different concepts. With math being a focus at my district, I look for ways to engage my students with fun and creative activities. \r\n\r\nThey were exited with the new materials and school supplies that were added to our classroom. Classroom supplies such as the Expo markers and erasers allows them to practice their counting, reading , writing number skills.
