It was a great experience to observe my students comparing their skin color to the variety of construction paper colors available. I even had one student go to our classroom mirror to compare. \r\nThe project also included a writing portion in which the students kept their drafts in their two pocket folders and kept their writing materials handy in their pencil pouches. Their folders were personalized using the Avery labels. Our class utilizes the multicolored crayons for any type of self drawings or drawings of other famous individuals. Lastly, our file folders were made into individual writing resources.
