Seeing the excitement on their faces was priceless. Since that day, our new kitchen has provided my students many hours of fun and meaningful learning opportunities. Each day, small groups of students are able to use the kitchen. They usually ask me what I want to eat and they quickly set to work making a feast. I love hearing them talk and engage as if they were at home in their own kitchen. They are able to develop their language skills and their creative thinking skills in a fun and engaging environment as they learn to share and take turns. \r\n My students and I are extremely grateful to each and every donor who gave to our classroom project and made our new kitchen a reality. It is because of your combined support that we were able to make this possible. This kitchen will provide future students with an opportunity to learn and grow in the same way. Because of you, my students now have a well-organized space to access manipulatives and toys that support their developmental play. Your donations have brought so much joy and purposeful learning to our classroom.\r\n\r\nThe play kitchen and train set have quickly become student favorites. It is wonderful to watch the children socialize, \"cook\" for one another, and build friendships through collaborative play. These resources have been essential in helping them develop vital social skills in a natural, engaging way.\r\n\r\nYour donation of snacks has also been a game-changer for our literacy lessons. We've been using Goldfish as a hands-on tool to help students segment and blend sounds—once they sound out the word, they get to eat the treat!
