Students are using the new resources during check-ins, counseling sessions, and wellness breaks to calm their bodies and express their feelings. One special moment was when a student settled into the reading nook after a hard morning and shared that the room made them feel calm and safe. \r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the cozy rug, soft lighting, fidgets, and calming décor, they were excited and curious. Many immediately explored the space, while others quietly took it in, sharing how peaceful it felt. It was clear right away that this room would become a place where students feel comfortable and supported.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, we are continuing to build social-emotional learning experiences that help students grow in confidence and resilience. Students are using the tools to practice coping skills, express their feelings, and learn ways to manage stress in healthy ways. The next steps are to continue nurturing these skills so students can carry them beyond the wellness room and into their classrooms and daily lives. Your generosity has created not just a room, but a lasting foundation of comfort, support, and hope for our students.","fullyFundedDate":1761015169101,"projectUrl":"project/a-safe-space-for-healing-hearts/9832064/","projectTitle":"A Safe Space for Healing Hearts","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Michelle","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10313351"},{"teacherId":9679831,"projectId":9861068,"letterContent":"I am beyond moved by your generosity and extremely grateful for your kindness.
