With this project being funded, I'll be able to have students utilize the books to connect with their own emotions and learn how to cope and self-regulate.\r\n\r\nWith these new books, students will be able to connect with the stories relating to feeling nervous, anger, impatience, etc., and how characters navigated these obstacles. Students will be able to use the easel to draw out their emotions since some students are more visual learners. Something I noticed last year is majority of my students are big into reading, but my room library had limited materials. Being able to have it by the door allows easy access and visibility for students to grab anything they may need.\r\n\r\nI have also placed a sign by the cart so students can be aware that these materials are not just for them, but for any of their peers that they may also notice may be in need.
