We've been doing experiments and other projects such as research reports. The students used the podium to present their reports to the class. Because it has wheels, they were able to present from anywhere in the room. The podium is also ideal because it has a step for them to put their feet. \r\n\r\nAlso, the pouches and fidgits have REAllY helped meet my students' sensory needs. Each student has a pouch with essential supplies and sensory fidgits. They pull these fidgets out of their pouches any time they are having trouble focusing. Your donation has helped EVERY kiddo in my class. \r\n\r\nFrom my students and myself, thank you for your generosity. Before this generous donation, students would enter my classroom and immediately get out their cell phone and mindlessly watch videos or begin gaming. The bracelet making kits have changed that around completely. \r\n\r\nMy classroom at Yosemite serves as a cool down room for students who need additional support for any reason. Often times students will attempted to disengage from their surroundings by immediately pulling out their cellphone and scrolling through their go to applications. The bracelet making table now serves as a replacement behavior using technology to reengage students so they can get back into the classroom. It's a joy to see boys and girls utilizing the table.
