Each student can now learn to use and care for a microscope, preparing them for high school biology and beyond. These microscopes also came with a ton of really cool slide samples that the kids are going to love exploring. The kit to make my own slides will be super helpful when I need to make slides of chloroplasts and stomata. I am very excited to be able to show them so much with this new setup. \r\nI love how lightweight these scopes are; the old ones are so heavy and hard to move. These new microscopes worked very well when we looked at sand in our Earth science unit, I really like the fact that I do not need two different microscopes, one for slides and one for specimens. The students will get a ton of use out of these this coming year! Many of my students don't have access to wifi, printers, ink or otherwise to complete their homework. \r\n\r\nMy kids and I are so grateful for everything we received, but especially the technology because we were able to complete their restaurant menus, quarter projects, and even submit their portfolio videos.
