The underwear, books, and timers have become an important part of our daily routine. For example, we use the timers to remind students when it is time to try using the restroom, helping them build consistency and independence. The books are used during group time to teach and reinforce bathroom expectations in a fun and engaging way, while the underwear allows students to practice real-life skills and feel proud of their progress.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they were extremely excited and eager to use them. Many of them showed increased motivation and confidence, especially when they were able to choose their own underwear or participate in the routine. The excitement created a positive environment that encouraged students to keep trying and celebrating small successes.\r\n\r\nThanks to these resources, we have successfully potty trained 11 out of 15 students in our SDC classroom, which is a huge accomplishment. Our next steps are to continue working closely with the remaining students by maintaining consistent routines, providing additional support, and celebrating their progress along the way. We are incredibly grateful for the support, as it is making a meaningful and lasting impact on our students' independence and daily success.","fullyFundedDate":1769177353143,"projectUrl":"project/potty-training/9996341/","projectTitle":"Potty Training","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. David","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9808516"},{"teacherId":10386610,"projectId":5275980,"letterContent":"The iPads that were donated have helped over 30 nonverbal students gain access to AAC technology.
