We learned about how animals, dinosaurs, plants and even humans can make fossils. We let the clay dry overnight and painted them with the paints you help donated. \r\n\r\nOur students find it really helpful using the manipulatives for math time. They also like receiving a squishy toy as a reward for good behavior and for doing their work. \r\nThey enjoy the popcorn you help donate for snack time. My students were so excited to receive new dry erase markers and white board erasers! My students use mini whiteboards every day across our learning. Dry erase markers are used to practice spelling words and when dictating sentences. Students use white boards, markers, and erasers during math to draw pictures to solve addition and subtraction problems.\r\n\r\nSoft Kleenex has been a life saver during allergy season! We go through tissues quickly and when the school ran out it was a blessing to receive your donation of facial tissue. We also appreciate the hand sanitizer that helps us stay clean and healthy.\r\n\r\nWe cannot thank you enough for the brand new headphones! With a classroom full of students, they have to use headphones while listening to lessons on their computers. The children were able to complete a number of projects in the class. Our biggest project was for Black History month. We also use this in our Black History program to share with the parents, staff and students. It was a big success.\r\n The children also enjoy all toys and baby dolls we got. This made it a good reason to work and finish their work to get 10 min play in between work assignments. they were very excited to see all the new things we got for our classroom.
