Do you ever find yourself doing your best work sitting in a hard, upright chair? Not me and certainly not a class of 8 and 9 year olds! They need movement to get their brains activated and their attention on a task at hand. Most of my students have loads of energy and are always tapping, wiggling and turning about in their seats. Sitting on balance balls and wobble stools will allow my students to get their energy out while focusing! Whether they are in a guided reading group, taking a test, or working on math using tablets, flexible seating is the key to enhanced learning!
