Because of your support, we were able to add an incredible variety of books—from the exciting *Who Would Win?* collection and National Geographic Readers to thoughtful picture books like *Ohana Means Family* and *The Together Tree.* These new titles are already sparking curiosity and joy during independent reading time, and I can see the excitement on my students' faces as they explore fresh stories and fascinating facts.\r\n\r\nYour donations also made it possible for us to include books that teach about caring for our planet, such as *Can I Recycle This?*, *The Whale Who Ate Plastic,* and *What a Waste.* Having these resources empowers students to understand their role in protecting the environment and inspires them to take action, both in school and at home. Thanks to your generosity, my students now feel not only more engaged as readers, but also more confident in their ability to make a difference in the world.","fullyFundedDate":1747710180731,"projectUrl":"project/little-hearts-for-a-big-world/9360183/","projectTitle":"Little Hearts for a Big World!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jackson, M.Ed.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1071847_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1538359397541","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1071847"},{"teacherId":1071847,"projectId":9039498,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your incredible generosity in providing our classroom with such thoughtful and engaging resources. The art supplies—including watercolor paper, air-dry clay, origami paper, glue, bingo daubers, and even slime party favors—have opened up endless possibilities for student choice during creative projects and centers. My students have loved exploring different mediums to express their learning, and these items have made it possible for every child to find a material that sparks their creativity. I have seen students who were hesitant to participate in art activities light up when given the chance to work with new supplies, and it has been a joy to watch their confidence and collaboration grow.\r\n\r\nThe JBL PartyBox speaker has been another classroom game-changer! We use it daily for smooth transitions, energizing brain breaks, and creating a calm, focused environment during independent work. It has also enhanced our novel study time—students are captivated when we gather together to listen to stories with clear, high-quality sound that fills the room. The music and read-aloud experiences not only keep students engaged, but they also help build a sense of community in our classroom. Your support has made such a meaningful impact, and we are so grateful for the joy and focus these tools have brought to our learning environment.","fullyFundedDate":1746571685969,"projectUrl":"project/finding-our-frida/9039498/","projectTitle":"Finding Our Frida!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jackson, M.Ed.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1071847_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1538359397541","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1071847"},{"teacherId":4468215,"projectId":8701818,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation. Even with the conflict of our order, we were able to receive items that helps the students to love reading. The students were so excited when they saw the Amazon packages arrive in our classroom!\r\n\r\nThe Tonie box has been a hit in the classroom. Most students have seen the Tonie box at the store, but have never used one. Several students were happy to see the familiar Tonie box they have at home and were able to show me how to use the machine! The Tonie box has been great with songs for the classroom. Students have enjoyed listening to stories during our calming time and have enjoyed listening to the stories while they draw and write. The students, now familiar with the Tonie box, enjoy working on the new light tables to create pictures and stories while listening to songs and stories. They have also been creating their own pictures and creating their own stories.\r\n\r\nThank you for supporting the students in my classroom, this year and for years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1732325849898,"projectUrl":"project/lets-read/8701818/","projectTitle":"Let's Read!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Chao","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/misschao"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_3803","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":620,"numTeachers":31,"percentFrplEligible":18,"percentAsian":70,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":10,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"20.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":87.9,"schoolId":3803,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Patterson Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Patterson Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/fremont-unified-school-district/patterson-elementary-school/3803"}
