Because of your donations, my students have been able to explore and learn through our new art easel, jelly blocks, and magnet dress-up set. We use the art easel daily during center time, where students paint, draw, and express their creativity. The jelly blocks have been a favorite during building and STEM activities—students love stacking, squishing, and creating colorful structures while working together and practicing problem-solving skills. The magnet dress-up has also sparked so much imagination, with students creating characters, telling stories, and engaging in rich conversations with their peers.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their reactions were priceless! There were excited gasps, huge smiles, and so many eager hands ready to try everything. They were especially fascinated by the jelly blocks because of their unique texture, and the magnet dress-up quickly became a go-to activity for creative play. It was such a joy to see their excitement and curiosity come to life right away.\r\n\r\nAs we continue using these materials, we are building on students' creativity, collaboration, and language development. Your support has truly enriched our classroom environment and created meaningful learning experiences for my students. We are so grateful—thank you for making a difference in our classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1770228418796,"projectUrl":"project/an-easel-for-creative-kindergarteners/10078987/","projectTitle":"An Easel for Creative Kindergarteners","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gans","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10298934"},{"teacherId":2164550,"projectId":9611580,"letterContent":"The new area rug has made a meaningful difference in our classroom. From the moment it was unrolled, it transformed our learning space into a warmer, more inviting environment. The rug gave our students a defined place to gather, helping them feel comfortable, grounded, and ready to learn during whole-group activities.\r\nWhen the students first saw the rug covered in smiley faces, their excitement was immediate and contagious. They eagerly sat down to explore it and proudly told one another where they wanted to sit.\r\nSince adding the rug, we have seen improved focus, smoother transitions, and stronger engagement during lessons. Students are more motivated to participate, listen, and share, and the rug has helped support social-emotional development by creating a shared space for collaboration and connection. This simple addition has had a powerful impact on our students, enriching both their learning experience and their sense of belonging in the classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1762265354969,"projectUrl":"project/magic-carpet/9611580/","projectTitle":"Magic Carpet","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Victorine","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2164550"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_78696","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":301,"numTeachers":17,"percentFrplEligible":84,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":48,"percentIndigenous":6,"percentLatinx":34,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"17.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":89.6,"schoolId":78696,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Norman G Ambrosini Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Norman G Ambrosini Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/fortuna-elementary-school-district/norman-g-ambrosini-elementary-school/78696"}
