They can easily navigate our room and always have access to any supplies they need when they need them, such as crayons, pencils, big erasers, glue sticks, and scissors. This independence gives them a sense of responsibility and pride in caring for their own materials. \r\n\r\nIf one item has been absolutely essential, it's the clipboards. In our combo class, I pull each grade to the carpet for their specific instruction, and the clipboards allow the students to work comfortably and productively. They truly get used every single day!\r\n\r\nAt the front of the room, our magnetic bookshelves have become a favorite.
