The PUP participants, leaders, leaders in training, and explorers all send you a big thank you for your donations. They were very excited to receive the materials, especially since many of our materials were getting old. It was a collaborative effort by staff and students to select items for the purchase list that catered to the individual interests and preferences of the PUP participants. They are thoroughly enjoying themselves playing with items such as the dollhouse, toy bead maze, the farm and its animals, multiple kinetic sand boxes, and various art supplies, such as acrylic paint, crayons, and Play-Doh. Each Thursday, \r\n\r\nThe PUP leaders, trainees, and explorers who mentor the PUP participants are enjoying designing lessons and art projects for the PUP participants. This artwork is being displayed at school events, such as the school's outdoor Lunar New Year and Semiquincentennial exhibitions. In preparation for our Semiquincentennial celebration, students are painting abstract designs that represent the U.S. flag. For the Lunar New Year, students are painting fire horses to celebrate the Year of the Horse for 2026. Soon, parents will be invited to viewe the Lunar New Year exhibition, including PUP art, and the PUP mentors will teach the parents PUP art lessons at a family art night using the supplies you donated! \r\n\r\nWe appreciate that you have contributed to our growing program. It is thanks to donors like you that we can maintain an art program that considers students of all learning needs.
