This has been one of the most impactful activities for our students this year thanks to the musical instruments ( ukulele guitar , wooden toy drum, kazoo, soprano recorders, and xylophone). The modeling compound was used during sensory time, in which students are taught to create anything of choice, mostly favorite animals. \r\n\r\nThe materials were greeted with excitement and deep curiosity as the students couldn't wait to explore. It's unfortunate that we can't show their faces in the photos for you to see the joy, smiles, and complete happiness that our students expressed while playing the instrument. Most importantly, watching them finally figure out how to use each instrument correctly are beyond written words. \r\n\r\nWe intend to keep this activity on our weekly schedule, with the goal to have our students perform in a recital. It became our favorite time of the week as both students and staff enjoy the lessons.\r\n\r\n \r\nSpecial thank you to our generous donors, The Helen and Will Webster Foundation, for bringing our vision to reality!","fullyFundedDate":1772754882435,"projectUrl":"project/do-re-mi-lets-the-music-flow/10094179/","projectTitle":"Do, Re, Mi...
