Having supplies to create meaningful writing activities for my students is invaluable. The students enjoy using these \"special supplies\" and are more engaged in their learning.\r\nThe dry-erase pockets are fantastic for activities that we do multiple times. They are also great when I am working with students who need additional support, as I can model sentence structure for them while we brainstorm together. They can then copy the sentence we created.\r\nMy independent students are collaborating well in their groups. Being able to reuse the same worksheets saves time, and I can easily rotate different prompts between groups. Writing is a challenging subject for getting students to buy in, and these supplies have helped me make it more fun, resulting in a higher rate of engagement.\r\nYour generosity makes a positive impact on my students' learning. We were able to use the clay that I ordered to build our prehistoric homes. The students had an absolute blast using their skills to build these homes. This will really help them to enjoy our novel study. There is nothing like holding a book and diving into a story. The best part is when all the children can do it together. We are able to experience and enjoy the book together. Having individual books allows the children to discuss and analyze the book as we read it. There are great discussions that can come from a novel study. We also don't have to wait for another class to finish the book and rotate through all 3 fifth grade classes.
