These STEM materials, including three different types of blocks, will give my students the opportunity to explore, build, and learn as they are able to talk and collaborate with their peers. The variety of materials in the project will promote collaboration, communication, and motor skills. As a teacher, I want to give me students all the opportunities they can have to develop their STEM skills and their love for learning. The variety of building blocks, including cardboard, metal, and wood blocks, develops understanding in my students of how these materials are used by engineers everyday in their world around them. These materials will make a difference in my students' learning as we transition back to the classrooms by giving them opportunities to construct their knowledge and social skills through play.
