As you saw, our old copies of Harry Potter were falling apart. Now, we have enough copies for all the students to read, or partner read, the series. \r\nHarry Potter is used in my classroom to inspire the magic of reading with my students. Many of my students can not read and comprehend the stories well on their own. Some of the words are unfamiliar and the books are so large they are intimidating. For this reason, I read the series outloud to my class. Some students follow along with their own copy of the book as I read. Because the old copies were falling apart, kids would grab the next book off the shelf when I was only half way through the book to ensure that they got a copy to read along with. Now, everyone can follow along if they want to.\r\nWhen I first unboxed the books my class literally cheered they were so excited! Now my stronger readers are reading ahead of the class and are very excited to try longer and harder books. Thank you so much for giving all my students the opportunity to have access to the stories. Reading has become cool in my class, and how great is that?","fullyFundedDate":1767137606080,"projectUrl":"project/inspire-the-magic-of-reading-with-harry/9966817/","projectTitle":"Inspire the Magic of Reading with Harry Potter!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Silva","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4476661"},{"teacherId":3186436,"projectId":9712627,"letterContent":"My class has been nothing but excited to earn free time to explore the new hands on materials we received.
