The whiteboard auction paddles, whiteboard clipboards, magnetic hooks, and timer have arrived and are already making a significant, positive impact on my classroom. These resources are essential for maintaining a smooth, efficient, and highly engaging learning environment. The whiteboard clipboards are fantastic for collaborative work and quick, non-verbal assessment, allowing every single student to show me their thinking simultaneously. Similarly, the auction paddles have transformed review sessions into an exciting, fast-paced activity that keeps all my students alert and eager to participate. You have directly enhanced my daily instruction and classroom management in ways that benefit every student I teach.\r\n\r\n The new tools have fundamentally changed how I run my classroom. The magnetic hooks provide a simple yet crucial solution for organizing materials and displaying student work efficiently, helping me cut down on transition time. Furthermore, the timer is invaluable for teaching time management and pacing during independent practice and small-group activities, ensuring that all my students remain focused and on-track. By providing these practical and powerful resources, you have not only given me material supplies but have invested in a more focused, organized, and interactive learning experience for my students. While it's still too early to see the full impact of your donation, there is already a lot of excitement on campus about the iPad incentive for tutoring. We just started tutoring this week, and the contest will run through the end of May. In my four years of running tutoring, I have never seen this much interest—students are already asking questions and showing enthusiasm like never before.\r\n\r\nTo make the contest even more inclusive, Northview has decided to host a pizza party during lunch in the library, where we will raffle off nine additional prizes to the top ten students who attend tutoring the most. This way, students who finish in second or third place won't feel left out, and everyone has a chance to celebrate their hard work.\r\n\r\nI cannot express how much this means to us. We've tried many different incentives in the past but struggled to bring in students consistently. Thanks to your generosity, I truly believe engagement will grow this year. I would be happy to share an update on the success of this contest once it concludes in May. If DonorsChoose doesn't provide that option, feel free to email me at rgrant@c-vusd.org, and I'll gladly share the results directly.\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for your generosity and for helping make such a difference in our tutoring program.
