While my students use basic technology at home, none of them have ever used or even seen a 3D printer in action. Bringing this technology into our classroom will help students connect classroom learning to real-world applications, strengthen their problem-solving and design thinking skills, and encourage creativity. It also provides hands-on learning experiences that make abstract concepts more meaningful and memorable.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part of this new product is that, for all of my students, it will be their very first time seeing a 3D printer in action. The idea that they can design something on a computer and watch it become a real, physical object is incredibly motivating. They are eager to explore, experiment, and create, and this technology opens the door to learning experiences they have never had before.\r\n\r\nSeveral students have already shown tremendous excitement about the opportunity to use a 3D printer, especially those who enjoy building, drawing, and solving creative challenges. Students who may not always shine during traditional lessons become deeply engaged when they can learn through hands-on projects. Because all of my students come from a Title I community, experiences with emerging technologies like this are rare. Having access to a 3D printer will give them the chance to develop valuable STEM skills, build confidence, and imagine new possibilities for their futures.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of our hearts, thank you for funding our project and believing in our students. Students have been busy working hard to reach their IEP goals. The materials from this project, our team has been able to create several projects to assess our students. We have created number, alphabet, shapes, and name assessments to support students. \r\n\r\nStudents are having so much fun during arts and crafts. They were so excited to create all the projects and show their parents. We have created caterpillars and butterflies, during our reading centers. We read the Hungry Caterpillar, students were so excited to learn more about butterflies. They were eager to learn and participate during reading centers when they knew they were going to create a craft.\r\n\r\nWe are currently working on sensory projects, and numbers. With these materials we will be creating fun and exciting projects for students to learn and reach their IEP goals. Thank you so much for all your support.
