One special moment that stood out was during center time when a group of students used the train set and magnetic tiles together to build a \"city.\" They added bridges, homes, and stores. They worked collaboratively, solving problems and sharing ideas as they figured out how to connect the tracks and structures. In another area, students used the play kitchen, babies, and dishes to act out real-life scenarios, practicing communication and cooperation. \r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their reactions were full of excitement and curiosity. There were smiles, gasps, and lots of eagerness to begin playing and exploring. Many students were especially drawn to the My Little Ponies and dramatic play items, while others couldn't wait to start building with the magnetic tiles and train set. The social emotional books helped students make connections to their everyday life and allowed them to share their own feelings and experiences. Overall, the new materials created a sense of joy and curiosity throughout my classroom.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students will continue to build on these experiences through more structured and purposeful play. These resources will help deepen their learning, strengthen social skills, and encourage creativity, all while making meaningful connections thanks to the generosity of our donors.","fullyFundedDate":1755752750108,"projectUrl":"project/building-hearts-and-minds-nurturing-so/9608062/","projectTitle":"\"Building Hearts and Minds: Nurturing Social-Emotional Growth in Transitional Kindergarten\"","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Allen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5655800_orig.jpg?crop=2320,2320,x0,y77&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1628320771893","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-allen-01"},{"teacherId":10292158,"projectId":9769700,"letterContent":"I am so grateful for your generous support of our classroom library!
