Because of your generosity, our classroom has been transformed into a hands-on learning environment full of excitement, curiosity, and fresh produce.\r\nWe are thrilled to share that we've already had two successful harvests featuring a variety of lettuces—including mixed greens, romaine, and even basil. Our current crops include cherry tomatoes, kale, dill, and a new round of basil, and the students eagerly check their progress each day.\r\nThe Farmstand has opened the door to rich sensory exploration in our classroom. Students have participated in taste-testing activities, using vivid adjectives to describe what they see, feel, smell, and taste. We also created colorful plates of fruits and vegetables to learn how each color supports and nourishes our bodies.\r\nOur next big learning adventure will be measuring plant growth, tracking how quickly each plant develops. The excitement is contagious, and one student in particular has taken on the role of our \"agricultural enthusiast.\" They proudly check the water level and monitor pH each day—skills they can't believe they're learning in school!\r\nThis project has truly been an incredible addition to our class.
