Students also have the freedom to use the whiteboards when they are working on Math assignments. Many use the whiteboard as scratch paper, which saves times and paper for our class. \r\n In addition, the automatic pencil sharpener has been huge help in our classroom. Students are able to use it and carry on about their day. This specific pencil sharpener is so sturdy and I am not rebuying a new one every couple months. Students are also excited that we have a cool and new gadget in our class. These items that were donated may seem like simple items, but for us it makes all the difference. \r\nMy next step is to request some gadgets that will allow students to use their time wisely and also motivate them!","fullyFundedDate":1733233384707,"projectUrl":"project/basic-supplies-for-all-students/8872718/","projectTitle":"Basic Supplies for All Students","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Fimpel","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3678431_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y504&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1728662509699","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3678431"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_36185","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":287,"numTeachers":17,"percentFrplEligible":75,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":1,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":93,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"16.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":75.2,"schoolId":36185,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Los Altos Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Los Altos Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/chula-vista-elementary-school-district/los-altos-elementary-school/36185"}
