With your support, we received two class sets of books for us to read and enjoy together. Our need for some updated class sets was great, and it is because of your kindness that we were able to get these new books to enjoy this year and for many more years to come. \r\n We were able to finish reading one of the books before our Spring Break, and my students thoroughly enjoyed it. There were a few students in particular who loved the book, and have asked if there's a sequel! One of those students is a reluctant reader, so hearing him ask for more books was amazing. He really enjoyed the character development throughout the book, and the fact that each chapter was told from the point of view of a different character. Although there isn't a sequel to this book, there are numerous books by the same author, written in a similar style, so he has lots to choose from. \r\n Thank you again for your support! I look forward to reading the next book with my students very soon.","fullyFundedDate":1736371467517,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-collections/8827168/","projectTitle":"Classroom Collections","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hansen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp64191_orig.png?crop=419,419,x28,y60&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1759512593262","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/amyhansen"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_26810","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":392,"numTeachers":17,"percentFrplEligible":76,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":11,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":79,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"23.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":87.5,"schoolId":26810,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Glen Oak Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Glen Oak Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/charter-oak-unified-school-district/glen-oak-elementary-school/26810"}
