These inclusive books will be used by our Special Day Class (SDC) teacher and her students to guide them through a hands on art project, all while learning about artists and types of art. They did this while seeing themselves in the books they are reading.\r\n\r\nWe will also use these books for our two literacy outreach programs: Kinder Tech Buddies and Athletes as Readers and Leaders. The former connects high school English Language Learners with kindergarten students digitally twice a month. The high school students read books on line to the kinders while helping them learn to read. The later is also a literacy outreach program that connects high school athletes weekly, for in person reads with T-K through 3rd grade students. \r\n\r\nThank you again for your generous gift of these books, including two amazing books that you wrote!","fullyFundedDate":1733416127488,"projectUrl":"project/draw-me-in-inclusive-art-project-books/8981982/","projectTitle":"Draw Me In!
