Students worked incredibly hard on their projects. They looked carefully at the plot of an Ancient Greek myth then planned out a collage with their partner. They painstakingly photographed each collage piece entering the frame and landing in place. \r\nThey developed their planning and problem solving skills to create their collages. They had to plan ahead to clearly communicate background, mid ground, and foreground. This combined with their study of emphasis made the creating the layout a real challenge. On top of that they had to learn a new program on our iPads. The stop motion software was challenging and required patience and persistence. \r\nOur final display is set up in our hallway and people are constantly stopping to watch the videos. The kids are finishing their gorgeous work and are looking forward to exhibiting at the end of the month. They all feel connected to their animals and are hoping their art will lead to adoptions. We are supporting 120 animals!\r\nStudents are working in pastel, watercolor, and pencil. They are pushing themselves to create gorgeous pieces. So often they hit a creative wall and will encourage each other by saying \"Trust the process!\" or \"Make it Work\".
