The ability for my students to apply in real time the health and nutrition I teach is immeasurable. It is one thing to read about nutrition, another to do research, but it is completely different impact to have tangible meaning to the practices of study.\r\nThe students were shocked the day they showed up to class and tables were set up for them to be able to actually prepare, chopped, cook and present their side dishes and their meals. The ability to use cooking utensils is one thing, but to have them be brand new and uniform in design and color really made my students feel special and really brought out their creative side with their dishes.
