I have just begun my third trimester of teaching this course, thanks to your donations. \r\n\r\nWe've been putting the supplies to good use, creating natural body sprays, deodorant, and toothpaste in class. It's a great feeling knowing my students are taking home products that are good for them at absolutely no cost to them.\r\n\r\nPlease take a look at the pictures of my students creating natural body spray this week. They were laser focused when measuring out the ingredients. They each created a custom fragrance using essential oils, and they were so excited to share it with their friends. Just in this one lab experience, you can see many of the donated items being utilized! :)\r\n\r\nThe hands-on experience of this course is leading to so much learning! Last trimester, students presented a final project demonstrating all of the knowledge they have gained throughout the course. I was very impressed by how motivated the class was to research other natural recipes, create one at home, and share the product with the class. In fact, some of the recipes were so good I've decided to incorporate them into my syllabus this trimester!\r\n\r\nThank you from the bottom of my heart for funding these projects! Thanks to your generosity, approximately 75–100 students from our High school had the opportunity to participate in this wonderful cultural learning experience.\r\n\r\nThrough this project, students explored the rich Mexican tradition of making piñatas and learned about their history and significance. Each student created a unique piñata that reflected their individual interests and creativity. We were able to organize an exhibition showcasing all their beautiful work, which brought so much joy and pride to our school community.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, we were also able to continue our tradition of making piñatas for Día de Muertos and Las Posadas, helping our students connect more deeply with our cultural heritage. This experience has inspired them to value and preserve these traditions for future generations.\r\n\r\nThank you for making this project possible and for bringing culture, creativity, and joy into our classroom.
