Students can now easily pass materials to their friends sitting nearby instead of getting up and walking across the room.\r\n\r\nThe art rack has also been a game changer for keeping our room organized. Before, we had artwork drying on counters and shelves, which took up valuable space. Now students can neatly place their projects on the rack where they stay safe while drying.\r\n\r\nOverall, these resources have made our classroom more functional and less distracting. We are already seeing the difference in how our students learn, interact, and build their skills. I am truly thankful for the self-regulation success this cozy corner has provided.\r\n\r\nThe cozy corner is a large wooden cube with three open sides that students can climb in or out of. When they first saw this box in the classroom, they were very intrigued and wanted to instantly climb in. Kids love small spaces they can \"hide\" in. They want to explore and figure out the benefits of using such a space. Each moth I set up a display of the months theme (African America Heritage, LGBTQ, Asian American Heritage, Native America Celebrations, etc).
