The cleaning products you helped provide have made a tremendous difference—not only in our daily routines but also in the way my students and I feel about our shared learning environment.\r\n\r\nFrom day one, my students noticed the difference. The classroom smells fresher, surfaces are regularly disinfected, and our supplies are organized and well-maintained. One student even said, \"It feels like we're in a brand-new classroom!\" Knowing that everything is clean gives students peace of mind and helps them focus more on learning, not on germs.\r\n\r\nThese supplies have become part of our daily routine. Students have taken pride in helping to keep our space tidy—wiping down desks, organizing supplies, and making sure high-touch areas stay sanitized. This has also opened up great conversations about responsibility, hygiene, and respect for shared spaces.\r\n\r\nAs we move into our next classroom project, students are working in small groups more often, and it's such a relief to know they can do so in a clean and healthy environment. Your support gave us the tools to take better care of our space—and of each other.\r\n\r\nThank you for making our classroom not just cleaner, but more comfortable and confident for every student who walks through the door!","fullyFundedDate":1669647907838,"projectUrl":"project/clean-classroom-happy-learners/6852993/","projectTitle":"Clean Classroom, Happy Learners!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Avina","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7350495_orig.jpg?crop=2150,2150,x2180,y866&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1634789818781","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7350495"},{"teacherId":8728961,"projectId":8967889,"letterContent":"I want to thank you for your help with your donations. My students feel so successful reading books at their reading level and their interest. Students are able to practice decoding skills in printed books at school and take those books home for continued practice. They can even access other books online that may be of interest to them and quiz themselves on their comprehension of the text. \r\n\r\nEach week in my room, students are introduced to the phonics/decoding skill of the week. We practice reading and building words with that focus. Then on the next two days, they complete more rigorous word work based on the weekly text but are able to read the entire text as well as answer questions for understanding. Thursdays I listen to each student read the text independently to check for reading improvement and what skills they still need to acquire. Fridays they get to take their books home and have a game day that is still focused around the words and sentences contained in that week's text.\r\n\r\nReading interventions like this wouldn't be possible without donor's like you! I use these for read alouds to the whole class. We usually engage with read alouds for an entire week and do activities with the book to help solidify the message. \r\n\r\nThese books are so engaging that both books I've read to the class so far have been a huge hit!
