Listening centers allow them to hear fluent reading and experience books they may not be able to read on their own yet. This boosts their confidence, supports independent learning, and helps them make meaningful connections to the text.\r\n\r\nListening centers also encourage small group collaboration and give me the ability to work with other students in small groups while knowing that every child is engaged and learning. Most importantly, they help every student see themselves as a reader and develop a lifelong love for books.","fullyFundedDate":1710357624079,"projectUrl":"project/ear-ye-ear-ye-listening-center/8230350/","projectTitle":"Ear Ye, Ear Ye! We've been diving into discussions on character development, exploring different perspectives, and even practicing creative writing inspired by what we read.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, reading is an active, engaging experience. Whether through small-group discussions, read-aloud sessions, or independent reading time, students are immersed in stories that challenge and inspire them.
