Your donation has provided my students with supplies that are helping turn financial concepts from something they read about in a textbook into something they can actually see, touch, practice, and use.\r\nIn our Banking & Finance class, students are learning skills that they will use long after they leave high school. The cash register and play money have given students the opportunity to practice counting money, making change, handling transactions, and thinking through real-world customer interactions. These may seem like simple skills, but they are important building blocks for financial literacy and future employment.\r\nThe tape, laminator, and other classroom supplies have also made a difference in our everyday learning. Students use their interactive notebooks to organize information, complete hands-on activities, and create resources they can refer back to throughout the year. Having the supplies needed to make these materials durable and useful allows students to take greater ownership of their learning.\r\nOne of my favorite parts of this project is seeing students actively engaged in something that feels like a real-world experience rather than just another classroom assignment. Whether they are counting change at the register or working with their interactive notebooks, they are practicing skills that connect directly to the world of banking, business, and personal finance.\r\nYour donation is helping us build a classroom where students can learn by doing. It is giving them opportunities to practice accuracy, responsibility, communication, problem-solving, and financial decision-making in a safe environment where they can learn from mistakes and try again.\r\nThank you for investing in my students and in their futures.
