When the students received their blazers, the excitement in the room was incredible. Seeing every student dressed alike gave them an immediate sense of pride, confidence, and belonging. They truly looked and felt like leaders before ever stepping onto the national stage.\r\n\r\nThe blazers quickly became much more than a uniform. Our students wore them throughout the 2026 FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., during competitive events, leadership sessions, award ceremonies, and meetings with Arkansas's congressional delegation. \r\n\r\nYour generosity helped our students achieve incredible success. One student completed a year of service on FCCLA's National Executive Council by leading conference general sessions attended by more than 10,000 members and guests. Students earned national Gold and Bronze medals in STAR Events, competed in Skills Demonstration Events, served on the National Nominating Committee, participated in the prestigious FCCLA ACCESS Scholars Program, judged national competitive events, and advocated for Career and Technical Education on Capitol Hill. Our school's first-ever Knowledge Bowl team also advanced to the Elite Eight after entering bracket competition as the No. 2 seed out of 40 teams. These accomplishments were achieved while proudly wearing the blazers you helped provide.\r\n\r\nThe impact of your gift will continue long after the conference. These blazers will be worn by students for years to come at regional, state, and national FCCLA events, leadership conferences, officer trainings, school presentations, and community service projects. Every time a student puts on one of these jackets, they will be reminded that someone they have never met believed in their potential.
