The cutting edge technology of the Cricut Maker will put my students on the fast track to sewing success. This machine cuts fabric and makes pattern markings that would otherwise take students days to do the "long way." This technology mimics that of a large factory where clothing is made. Not only does it make the content relevant to students, but it sheds light into a field where students of all education levels can find a meaningful career. The Cricut Maker will also allow students the opportunity to participate in STEAM projects with other content areas. For example, students can use technology, computer science, engineering, art, and math to design their own patterns and create garments!

About my class
