The students were so excited to learn how to make a pinch pot fish. Everyone in the 5th grade is having so much fun and is engaged in learning. Several students who often lack interest in 2-D art are going above and beyond adding details to their clay creations. \r\n Using clay, the students created a pinch pot fish. then added texture with the clay tools. I fired the pieces in the kiln, then the students painted their fish with underglaze paint. Several of the students have begun glazing. The students and I can't wait to see the outcome. \r\n I am including a few pictures of their creations in process. I can't tell you how much your donation has benefitted the students. Most of them have never worked in clay before.
