When the equipment first arrived, the excitement was immediate. The team gathered around as we unpacked everything, and you could see their motivation grow right away. For many of them, having quality equipment makes them feel supported and reminds them that people believe in their hard work and dedication.\r\n\r\nWe've already started incorporating the new resources into our daily practices. During conditioning and skill development, the equipment has allowed us to run more structured drills and give more athletes the opportunity to practice at the same time. One moment that stood out was during a recent practice when we were able to split the team into smaller groups and focus on specific techniques. The athletes were more engaged, working harder, and encouraging each other as they practiced.\r\n\r\nThe athletes were incredibly grateful when they learned that donors made this possible. We talked about how people in the community chose to support them, and it meant a lot for them to know others are invested in their growth both as athletes and as students.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we'll continue using these resources to build strength, improve technique, and prepare for upcoming competitions. Our goal is not only to grow as athletes but also to develop teamwork, discipline, and confidence that will carry over into other areas of their lives.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our program and for supporting these hardworking student-athletes. Your generosity is helping create opportunities for them to train, grow, and succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1765664344130,"projectUrl":"project/harps-foods-and-mission-tiger-donation/9943851/","projectTitle":"Harp's Foods and Mission Tiger Donation Redemption","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Fabricant","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7032646_orig.jpg?crop=2141,2141,x592,y227&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1577142917843","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7032646"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_56469","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":694,"numTeachers":53,"percentFrplEligible":82,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":20,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":58,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"8 - 9","studentTeacherRatio":"13.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":66.7,"schoolId":56469,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Southwest Junior High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Southwest Junior High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arkansas/springdale-public-schools/southwest-junior-high-school/56469"}
