Our students are actively using the giant magnetic graph and array chart during math and science lessons to visualize data and patterns in ways that make concepts click. The new sticky easel pad has been perfect for collaborative brainstorming during group projects, while the flip chart markers and Expo markers allow students to illustrate ideas clearly and creatively.\r\n\r\nSafety glasses, cable ties, and adhesive cable clips have made hands-on projects safer and more organized, and the power strip tower keeps all devices charged and ready. Dry erase erasers and markers make it easy for students to quickly revise their work and experiment without fear of mistakes.\r\n\r\nNext up, students will use these tools to create detailed data charts and presentations for an upcoming science project, analyzing patterns in plant growth under different conditions. One of our first projects was creating interactive math binders. Students used the sheet protectors, graph paper, and highlighters to keep track of their notes and practice problems. Having everything organized made them feel prepared and proud of their work.\r\n\r\nTheir first reaction was excitement — several students asked if the supplies were \"really for them\" and couldn't wait to use the clipboards and dry erase markers during our problem-solving activities. Even something as simple as fresh pencils and erasers brought a boost of energy and ownership.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll be using these supplies to support a unit on probability and data. Students will use rulers, graph paper, and colored pencils to create visual representations of their results, while the baskets and caddies will help us keep our materials organized for group work. Thanks to these donations, my students are set up for success and can focus more on learning and less on searching for supplies.","fullyFundedDate":1746786303974,"projectUrl":"project/student-station/9269302/","projectTitle":"Student Station!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Fatheree","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10004569_orig.jpg?crop=839,839,x184,y75&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1745441977377","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10004569"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_54227","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":313,"numTeachers":31,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":5,"percentWhite":80,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":7,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"7 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"10.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":65.4,"schoolId":54227,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Murfreesboro High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Murfreesboro High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arkansas/south-pike-county-school-district/murfreesboro-high-school/54227"}
