We're still experiencing so many opportunities for learning about scenic paint, and our students are growing more and more. We gave the characters of Mr. and Mrs. Beaver a home made of wood. \r\nOur students were astonished at the arrival of our new materials. Through the NLRHS Dance Program, I strive to bring my students the opportunity to study ballet, jazz, modern, tap, and musical theatre. It is my goal to bring each of my 150 students the chance to discover the art of movement, train in different disciplines, and have many different performance opportunities. I work day in and out to bring them proper technique classes, creative choreography, and a chance to perform in professional-level productions. It is my dream to bring them the education that I feel so fortunate to have had.\r\n\r\nThe technology you provided for us, has allowed our students to use choreography applications and resources, participate in zoom master classes, edit dance videos, record auditions, and so much more! With the iPad and keyboard, they're able to sketch, plan, and make adjustments digitally before they even pick up a tool. It's amazing to see them so engaged and excited about bringing their designs to life in a whole new way.\r\n\r\nThe hands-on tools, foam, knives, and hot glue guns have taken things to another level. Instead of just drawing their ideas, they're actually building them in 3D, which helps them understand structure, balance, and scale in a way that a flat sketch just can't. Some students who were hesitant at first have really taken to it, gaining confidence as they see their creations come together.\r\n\r\nWatching their creativity grow and their skills improve has been fun. They're not just learning about design, but they're learning teamwork, problem-solving, and how to turn their ideas into something real. Seeing their excitement every day is the best part, and none of this would have been possible without your support.
