My students are constantly moving in and out of this center, creating lots of wonderful things. They delight in making pictures to take home to their parents and working with playdoh to make all kinds of shapes. \r\n\r\nKeeping enough supplies in this center is always a chore. At this age many students do not have enough hand strength to properly open and close items, so we often have materials that get dried out. Using the playdoh and rollers will actually help them to build the needed hand muscle to complete these tasks easier. \r\n\r\nIt is always a great feeling when I know there are people out in our communities that want to help our students succeed. Your generosity is helping us create a space where our 3rd–6th grade students can grow not only as strong readers but also as thoughtful, kind, and socially conscious individuals. With your support, we will have a large area rug for our conversation circle and flexible seating that allows every student to feel comfortable, engaged, and ready to participate. In our rural school, opportunities to explore diverse perspectives can be limited, but your gift ensures that inside our classroom, students can gather, share, ask questions, and learn from each other in a welcoming, inclusive environment. Your kindness is helping us teach and model empathy, justice, and respect, and we are so grateful for your investment in our students' growth and potential.
