I have utilized many of the supplies so far, and I have big plans for the remainder. Outside of just keeping my room clean and safe, we have been able to actually have fun with our curriculum. Last semester my students were able to immerse themselves in their narrative writing by creating cover art for their spooky narratives and often use markers and construction paper for small projects in our day to day classes. We were also able to play a fun, engaging game of Dialogue Jeopardy with the use of the markers and a few small snack incentives. Even my students who never want to engage got involved, which I was amazed by. \r\n Many of my students have come to me in this time in need, and I have felt so blessed to be able to freely give them food or support in whatever way they need. They know if they are lacking, they can always come to me. I keep pencils and paper available with no shame, and I always have extra supplies on stand-by now. I have been able to reach some of my most reluctant students by making my classroom as welcoming and interesting as possible. I would not be able to do any of this without your support. IXL has been an awesome intervention tool that helps reinforce and build on what the students have learned and are learning.\r\n\r\nThe data that you get from IXL is so helpful in differentiating and driving instruction.
