I have built my classroom library by purchasing new and used books. As years pass, my books have a lot of wear and tear, especially the popular books. After a while it gets expensive trying to constantly replace books that have been abused and to also add new books. Thanks to you, you have helped add new books to my library for students to enjoy for years to come!\r\n\r\nWhen I shared that we had a project funded for new library books, my students were very excited! Once I went through some of the titles that would be added they were ecstatic about new books! I am so glad that my students will be able to get their hands on new books and that they will get to further fuel their love for reading! My students were so excited that there would be new items in our class store. Students double down and started working twice as hard to earn classroom money and make sure they were at school to get paid for the day! Students also started focusing on saving their money so that they could purchase some of the important items like mechanical pencils or pencil sharpeners and some of the fun items like erasers and claw clips.\r\n\r\nYour donation made a huge difference in my classroom. Students started setting more goals to save their money instead of spending it every time the class store opened. I hope that my students can carry these important financial skills forward and apply it in the real world. Students are now working hard to make sure they have all of their work turned in so they can have a chance on the chairs.
