Your donations have helped us all out tremendously! The new tuners and metronomes that you helped finance have helped improve the overall quality of sound from the band. We have been using them each day since we received them!\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials that we received, most were confused. They had never seen a tuner or a metronome before, ever! We set aside one day and went over all of the different functions of the devices. We learned everyone's tuning note, the main tuning note, and what frequency to set it to. The next steps for my students will be to use these resources everyday until it becomes second nature. Thank you again for your generosity!","fullyFundedDate":1756912969033,"projectUrl":"project/staying-in-tune-with-everyone/9629944/","projectTitle":"Staying In Tune with Everyone","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Land","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10194404_orig.jpg?crop=1499,1499,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755695557098","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10194404"},{"teacherId":4880313,"projectId":5282419,"letterContent":"My students have been over the moon for the technology this project has provided. Since the addition of the 3D printer into the classroom, my students have been self driven to learn 3D modeling and have created some funny and some interesting sculptures. I've had students make masks, figures, and tools to use in the art room. One of their favorite things to do is to simply watch in amazement as the printer lays down the filament and thier creations come to life. One student in particular, learned how to create a mask from a character he originally created and spent the time to learn how to make it completely wearable. He was so thrilled to have something tangible in his hands that he created. This student would be classified as a high risk student and now he's more motivated to come to class thanks to the classroom addition.","fullyFundedDate":1606832484347,"projectUrl":"project/full-steam-ahead/5282419/","projectTitle":"Full STEAM Ahead","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Allen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4880313_orig.jpg?crop=428,428,x23,y82&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1636665414598","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-jennifer-allen"},{"teacherId":9739014,"projectId":8894474,"letterContent":"The ukuleles and rack have been a huge hit in my classroom. For each family, they were allowed to play on certain instruments! However, before this project, I would have been unable to provide a string instrument, as our school does not have any. This made a huge difference in being able to put a string instrument in their hands, which enhanced their learning.\r\n\r\nThe sixth graders will be continuing on and having a whole unit on ukulele as an intro into playing music together before they are eligible for band next year.
