As I mentioned before, we have an abundance of support from our staff and community. However, without this donation of supplies, we would've never been able to create work of this quality AND show it off to our community. We are so appreciative to have this privilege. My students have used these supplies for many projects ranging from clay cells to paintings. We used some supplies to engage in proper clean up, which is essential. This is all part of being an artist that they do not think of. We are so thankful for your contribution.","fullyFundedDate":1731372252129,"projectUrl":"project/creativity-has-no-limits/8899146/","projectTitle":"Creativity Has No Limits!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ifland","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9585034"},{"teacherId":9585034,"projectId":8818507,"letterContent":"My students and I would like to thank you for this generous donation. I never knew clay was going to be the most requested medium for middle schoolers. Every single time a box arrived, the students faces lit up with excitement. When students are excited about art, it makes teaching art easier. Not that it is easy by any means, but it relieves the pressure and the time it takes to convince them why art is important. \r\nSo far, we have used the air dry clay in my 6th grade art club. The pottery tools were so helpful. Many of them could not get the forms they wanted to by simply using their hands. Unfortunately, I did not get any photos of these. As soon as they painted them, they were quick to take them home to show them off! We appreciate your contribution.","fullyFundedDate":1729704356436,"projectUrl":"project/multi-media-projects/8818507/","projectTitle":"Multi-Media Projects","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ifland","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9585034"},{"teacherId":9585034,"projectId":8484554,"letterContent":"Receiving this support when it comes to materials and resources has made my first year teaching 100% better! It is such a relief to not worry about if we have enough paper or if we will run out of paint mid-project. For the first semester, my students had a blast experimenting with oil pastels, acrylic paint, and collages. Some students shared with me that they have never used these materials before. You can imagine their faces when they saw the materials set up in front of them! It was such a delight. \r\nThe projects in the photos I shared are from the oil pastel projects I did with 6th-8th grade. We learned how to use oil pastels first through a technique worksheet. Then, we created \"neon\" signs of our favorite quotes. They turned out so well. My students were so proud!\r\nI am beyond thrilled for the upcoming semester. These materials are serving us well. You'd be surprised how excited 6th graders are when they see a fresh pack of markers! Thank you for supporting first year teachers. You have impacted my experience of the education world in a positive way.","fullyFundedDate":1726842505129,"projectUrl":"project/ms-is-first-year-art-classroom/8484554/","projectTitle":"Ms. I’s First-Year Art Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ifland","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9585034"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_53394","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":508,"numTeachers":33,"percentFrplEligible":43,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":85,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":7,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"15.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":57.1,"schoolId":53394,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Gravette Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Gravette Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arkansas/gravette-school-district/gravette-middle-school/53394"}
